In your role, you will be a part of the Global Compensation & Benefits team at the METRO Global Headquarter based in Dusseldorf.

Our Global C&B team is responsible for managing and developing global C&B guidelines and regulations and compensation structuring of the key elements of our top executives ("METRO Executives") C&B packages, and providing advice on compensation challenges.

Within your role, you will find yourself accountable for the independent planning, communication and implementation of annual salary rounds for all METRO executives.

You maintain regular review and adjustment of the Executive pay policy, development of country-specific pay policies in cooperation with local HR departments and further development of the internal job evaluation system.

You will also find yourself participating in cross-functional Compensation & Benefits projects and creating salary analysis and benchmarks.

To be successful in this role, you should bring subject matter expertise in the area of (executive) compensation & benefits planning.

You would have gained this experience ideally at a global, however regional level would also be relevant in terms of preparing you for some of the key C&B challenges that you will be a part of delivering against.

It would be anticipated that you have completed a business administration, HR or relevant field of study. We are looking for someone who is analytical, result oriented and relentlessly customer orientated.

You should also be willing to engage in new topics, to develop innovative ideas and to realize them as we further imbed best practice in our HR function.

Advanced MS Office skills and proficiency in SAP HR is preferred and fluency in English, with German a critical advantage.
