PRIMARY FUNCTION :
To maintain and identify IT business needs for the Product Development group as a member of the ICT organization. Worldwide support to the business on Product Lifecycle Management system’s development, testing, and release management.
The individual will collaborate with the engineering leads to define methodologies, processes and tool selection. Perform analysis of Business needs through a continuous interaction with engineering business counterparts.
Lead activities required to define and implement IT solutions to satisfy engineering business requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Guide the selection, installation and use of computing equipment and software. Maintain current knowledge of equipment, systems and programming techniques appropriate to the organization.
Monitor operations and develop improvements.
Participate in the training of key management with data processing techniques. Set policies, procedures, technical standards, methods, and priorities.
Plan and coordinate all investigations, feasibility studies and surveys of proposed and existing information systems and machine applications.
Plan, develop and direct the operation of information technology systems.
Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Information Technology, desirable however extensive experience with CAD and PLM systems is mandatory.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) knowledge and experience is essential with an in depth understanding of the Product Development methods and best practices related to the Design process particularly Pro-Engineer.
PLM application knowledge and experience is essential, (Teamcenter knowledge required), IPEM (Pro-Engineer integration with Teamcenter) desirable.
Use of Teamcenter for Digital Validation methods and procedures highly desirable.
An extensive knowledge of Product Development processes and methods is essential. Experience in design of processes and procedures and the general project lifecycle management policies are desirable.
