PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Support the NAFTA certification team with the following aspects :
Evaluation of engine modification requests (CRF) from Engineering department on all engine product families (F1, F5C, NEF, Cursor, Vector) in order to evaluate certification impacts and plan any descending certification activity
Evaluation of emission label compliance with the NAFTA regulation
Update the NAFTA emission database with the most updated certificates and requirements
Support the NAFTA reporting (quarterly, annually) in support of certification and compliance objectives
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide timely and effectively Emission / Certification change requests feedback to Engineering department. Analyze and check the technical certification impacts on certificates in order to supply to Engineering timing and cost of the certification activities.
Ensure emission label compliance : solve the day by day possible issues with the emission labels.
Ensure continuous update of certification database for labeling and certificates : update and store documents in the certification database in order to grant the emission compliance of the engines.
Support routine certification and reporting : gather production data from databases and Customer Management teams to compile engine applications directed to the US to ensure compliant production programs.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
Good communication skills in English (oral and written)
Strong network in the company
Solid technical background
Extensive experience within product development and a Good knowledge of engines and engine related regulations would be highly advantageous (Compression Ignition , Spark Ignition technology and After-
treatment technology awareness)
Teamwork skills as well as individual working capacity
Strong interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills
