Here's how this role will help :

  • Implement and execute the Local Purchasing Policy in accordance to Corporate Policies and Guidelines ensuring country compliance with established procedures;
  • Maximize the value of purchased goods and services working closely with line functions to ensure that their requirements are clearly defined : identify alternative suppliers and define the negotiation strategy;
  • review negotiation results with internal stakeholders;
  • Select and implement an appropriate sourcing strategy for all indirect purchasing categories working closely with the Global and Regional Sourcing Teams;
  • Work closely with Legal and functions (responsible for the purchases) for the establishment of standard terms and conditions and setup standard contract templates;
  • Identify opportunities to harmonize and standardize processes in the country : analyze the market, suppliers and price trends regularly and make recommendation to management for necessary change;
  • Develop and maintain appropriate reporting against defined KPIs;
  • Develop, promote and deploy training programs for procurement processes.

    Here are the minimum qualifications and essential functions for this position :

  • Master degree in Management Engineering or Equivalent;
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in same role as Purchasing Manager in multinational Company;
  • Excellent knowledge of Office suite and a dept SAP knowledge are mandatory;
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing Italian and English is required;
  • Must possess following skills : accuracy, excellent communication / relationship skill, negotiating skills, problem solving, planning and organization, result orientation, service orientation, ability to perform in stress situations.
