Responsibilities / Tasks

In collaboration with the project management department, GEA CMT ensure that large-scale and costly projects are carried out correctly and efficiently, so that they are delivered to the customer on time within the set budget.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Characterization of the activities :

  • Preparing the technical aspects of the work related to the execution and project components in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
  • Examining and / or elaborating the implementation methods and recording them in consultation with the executing parties.
  • Able to be working at site for extended period (up to 200 days a year).
  • Drafting, organizing and monitoring the implementing means (such as auxiliary works) and construction site establishments.
  • Assisting and directing the execution of the work at the construction site in cooperation with our own personnel or subcontractors.
  • If necessary, analyze drawings for deviations and / or implementation alternatives, including reporting to project leader.
  • Preparing schedules and check the 2-6 weeks detail planning prepared by the project leader.
  • Checking design and execution drawings.
  • Testing and commissioning of supplied installations.
  • Checking data supplied by subcontractors.
  • Drafting lists with the orders for materials, products and the necessary equipment if required locally.
  • Participate, where necessary, in work meetings / meetings and the preparation of reports.
  • Keeping the project dossier CE mark and checking safety provisions around installations.
  • Monitor the costs of implementing the project.
  • Performing the role of buyer in consultation with project leader.
  • Monitoring all safety measures on location and securing safety by means of workplace inspections and accident reporting (almost) reports.
  • Other tasks :

  • In conjunction with the project leader, co-responsible (project management primarily responsible) for the realization of projects on location within set budgets and confirmed delivery times to the customer.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Project planning on location. Derived from the main project planning of project management.
  • Deliver complete projects on time.
  • Manage calculations on your own.
  • Addressing needs for lending and lending production staff to project management.
  • Management workplace inspections and accident reports on location.
  • Safety on location in all its forms and aspects.
  • Execution and completion of quality audits in connection with project management.
  • Administrative work.
  • Working atmosphere, operational deployment and functioning of group employees.
  • Managing and creating reports and registering working hours on location.
  • Absenteeism management of employees on locationBudget awareness.
  • Authority :

  • We work on the basis of business objectives, departmental policy, applicable quality system and procedures as well as schedules, budgets, work instructions and consultation with the project managers.
  • Operational, instructions and assignments from the project management department and feedback from a site supervisor on the current status of the work in progress determine whether to prioritize and take action independently.
  • To organize the work in such a way that continuity in the service provision to the project management department is guaranteed.
  • Is sometimes confronted with unexpected disruptions and conflicting interests on location, which must be solved ad hoc.
  • Decisions on personnel matters (overtime, conflicts), exceedances (planning data, working hours and budgets) and major risks are submitted to the responsible project manager.
  • Communication (with whom within the organization and what about? foreign languages)

  • Communicating regularly with Project Manager and Customer.
  • Education and (work) experience required for the job :

  • BH completed in techinal areas.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Cheese industry.
  • HS&E certified, nice to have.
  • Great organizational ability.
  • Stress resistant and flexible.
  • Read technical drawing.
  • Knowledge of production organizations and possibilities.
  • Knowledge of production resources.
  • Knowledge of products, raw materials and materials.
  • Commercial skills and can deal with customers.
  • Being able to work in a team but also independently with a proactive attitude.
  • Good command of the Italian and English language.
