For our Fresh and Frozen category we are currently looking for an Expert, who brings our assortment to the next level. Therefore you analyze the international market trends, align with the sourcing teams in our countries and come to creative and beneficial solutions.

Align with our country subsidiaries to harmonize the product range and leverage scales
Keep up to date the assortment with market trends and react to changes in demand
Source new products and review existing items to ensure products competitiveness
Develop, negotiate and implement the Global Own Brand Range in our 25 countries
Lead cross functional teams (Packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing) through the Own Brand process
Execute suppliers meetings to negotiate terms of contracts and align strategy with local buyers and superiors
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new potential suppliers
Follow-up stock levels of finished products and packaging and react accordingly
Keep close track on supplier production capacity and coverage rate
Review key performance indicators and ensure accurate reporting
Proven track records in buying food at international level (4 years background)
Strong interest for food product development and good understanding of HoReCa customer needs
Preferably university degree in Business Administration or economics and trading
Commercially minded, flexible team player with the ability to prioritize own workload and use initiative
Good communicator who enjoys working with countries, customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders
Problem solving capacity and analytical thinking skills
Strong in relationship building and the ability to persuade and convince country sourcing experts of your ideas
Fun in working in an international environment with people from all over the world
Willing to travel (trade fairs, factory visits, country visits)
Fluent in English (working language)
