For our customer that is a leader company specialized in the production and distribution of technology solutions in the Chemicals / Pharma market, we are looking for : SALES ENGINEER / KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER CHEMICHALS&PHARMA MARKET Target of the roles : Executing of the sales of Solution plants and products in the cluster of pertinence (Chemicals&Pharma), establishing and managing customer contacts to foster Solutions Sales business in Italy, Greece and Malta.
Identifing customer needs and demands Managing the flow of information between the companies, the Application Centers of our company and the customer.
Main tasks : Report to the Sales Solution Manager of the own Division (Chemicals&Pharma).
Effect sales of Company in Chemical processing and represent the company in a professional manner Establish local contacts with Solutions customers.
Seek out business by visiting and presenting Company’s position in the industry to new customers, as well as visiting existing customers and maintaining relationships with them Work closely with customers in a problem-
solving mode where Company’s technologies bring benefit to the customer and ensure customer satisfaction Presence at local trade fairs on Company booths Commercial sales activities included lead generation (overall support for commercial quotation) Handle telephone and written inquiries and properly follow up in a timely manner throughout the sales process until final determination of customer action Negotiation and signing of contract in compliance with Company rules Proactive participation in Chemicals&Pharma Solution Sales team’s reporting duty on activities, proposal status and forecasts Manage expense account for travel and sundry on a timely basis Contributes to team effort by completing all tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements : The successful candidate will have 5-10 years working experience, among which at least 3-5 years in the sales of a technical product line Knowledge of Italian Chemicals&Pharma Market and main players is a must Master degree in chemical, mechanical engineering, chemistry or related technical field is an asset Experience working with Chemical processing equipment / engineered products Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate technical data and complex engineering systems The candidate must be willing to work with other sales engineers in a business development role Experience networking is a must Highly organized, Highly-
driven and self-motivated Excellent verbal and written communication skill both in Italian and English language The position will require 50% travel time within Italy as well as other areas of the cluster (Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Malta) for visiting customers, various events and meetings.
Some periodical travels to the Application Center in Europe are required.
Location : North-East Area of Milan.
