Position purpose :
Lead the local implementation of standards and processes about Health and Safety at Cassano Spinola site, and ensure compliance with national / territorial laws and regulations, in accordance to Group directives.

Job location : Italy (Cassano Spinola)
Key accountabilities :
Ensure the application of legislation and regulations about safety, health and hygiene, according their evolution.
Ensure suitable risks assessment, with implementation, up-dating and monitoring, according to current legislation.
Ensure the implementation, up-dating and monitoring of the Safety Management System.
Ensure the implementation, up-dating and training about the Emergency Plan.
Manages the fire-fighting activity and ensure compliance with Fire Department authorizations.
Animate and measure the local safety performance, challenging each service / department (KPI piloting).
Conduct safety audits, planned safety visits and Gembawalk, in relation to rules and applicable procedures.
Participate in the continuous improvement of the safety company performance, by sharing and applying the safety initiatives (local, European and Corporate), aiming to zero accidents and incidents.
Apply and consolidate in the site common solutions for the prevention of accidents and incidents.
Publicize and apply in the field the company safety procedures and regulations, being the support of managers for their Health and Safety problems and monitoring local action plans (compliance, audit, inspection, HS investments, ) and measure their effectiveness.
Plan, organize and monitor, together with HR Department, the health and safety training activity, specific or periodical (mandatory and / or not).
Manages the infirmary and the activity of the Occupational Doctor , planning the mandatory medical visits.
Key competencies requirement : Functional : In-depth knowledge on national / territorial laws and legislation on health & safety in workplaces Certification of the course as R.
S.P.P. is mandatory - Notions of statistics, ergonomics and emergency medicine Knowledge of the basics of the Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and UNI-
INAIL) Knowledge of the tools of risks prevention / protection and risks assessment (risk analysis, audits, causes roots analysis, prevention planning, ) -
Knowledge of the fire-fighting prevention and protection and experience in the fire emergency activities.Managerial : rrelationships skills (communication skills, arguing, influencing and convincing ability, negotiating ability) intellectual skills (analysis ability, problem solving) managerial skills (initiative and autonomy, results orientation and achieving ability, flexibility and adaptability, reactivity).
Leadership : sense of accountability, team coaching ability, exemplarity, discipline & compliance. Main internal relationships : All Services / Departments of the local Entity (mainly managers and professionals).
