Senior Compliance Engineer Forlí, Italy
As a Standardization and Regulation Engineer, your responsibility will be to ensure compliance with European and global standards.
You will act as an intermediary between different Electrolux divisions ensuring the standards are well understood and met.
You will :
Officially represent Electrolux in the European and National Organizations driving internal knowledge with respect to changes and requirements that influence Electrolux business.
Be a reference person for gas / electric applications to monitor and influence normative, legislative and regulatory activities at European and national level.
Coordinate the team as a gas / electric expert, amongst all locations involved in the research & development for these applications assisting realization and implementation in the project execution.
Test and coordinate activities, i.e. delivering support for new normative and regulation proposals for Safety, RoHS, REACH and related to Food contact in general.
Check with different lab organizations (Germany, Italy, Romania) availability in terms of timing and resources
Assign specific tasks to skilled experts within the organization in agreement with lab leaders based on official internal business needs.
Revise actual available data from R&D and Quality Department and evaluate in order to extract common results that help to improve new standard procedures.
Take responsibility for data storage and act as a reference person to external bodies (i.e. authorities, consumer associations, retailers etc.
regarding technical information requested and to be provided.
Owner of knowledge on general requirements ISO / IEC 17025 for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories supporting Lab accreditation.
Take responsibility for requirements (gas / electric) related to country extension.
Education and experience :
Deep knowledge of European standards.
University degree with a technical background, e.g. in Electronic Engineering (with EMC experience).
Good technical knowledge of products and new technologies.
Good knowledge of standardization process. Familiarity with terms and definitions used in legal texts and ability to filter the information towards the stakeholders for improving the business process with a good view of B2B and B2C focus.
Ability to speak and communicate verbally and written with the biggest focus on the message to be passed at all levels.
Proficient English level.
Availability to travel.
