Job Description

IDS Georadar is currently recruiting a for Interferometric Radar solutions. for our Headquarter in Pisa (Italy).

Main purpose of the role :

  • Continuous monitoring of customer feedbacks and market trend :
  • Propose the development of new product or new product features with the goal to increase the company market share
  • Benchmark competitor products
  • Define in collaboration with the internal stakeholder (company executives and business units) the product development strategies
  • Transform the shared strategies in a product roadmap plan in collaboration with the R&D department
  • Asses new product development project profitability with the assistance of the Sales department
  • Define user requirements and product concept workable by the R&D department
  • Verify the product compliance respect to the initial user requirements, during the development and before the release to the market
  • Manage product lifecycle, prioritizing activities
  • The duties and responsibilities include the following :

  • Define product roadmap strategy, by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and / or product changes
  • Determines customers' needs and market trend and translate it in requirements and concept workable by the R&D departments
  • Perform product test to validate initial requirements before product release
  • Provide feedback and detailed requirements to the R&D department during the project involving the development of a new product or of a product evolution.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
  • In case of software products, act as Product Owner following the agile development methodology
  • Support the Business Unit in the activity related to the launch of new products (datasheet, brochure, social media messaging framework)
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Be the best user of the product
  • Perform in collaboration with the R&D and / or the Customer Care departments new product, prototype trials at customer sites.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Evaluate new product profitability by preparing return-on-investment analyses based on project cost and sales assumption established R&D and sales department
  • Scope and prioritize product lifecycle activities based on business and customer impact
  • Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects to the internal Stakeholder
  • Represent the product reference person for internal Stakeholder and Customers
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and directions when working on customer / dealer / end user sites
  • Additional duties may be assigned from time to time

    Preferred 1-3 years previous experience as :

  • Product manager / Project manger
  • Application engineer for monitoring project
  • System analyst / System engineer
  • Bachelor degree in one of the following fields :

  • Software Electronic Telecommunication engineering
  • Geotechnical engineering
  • Geology
