    PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION :

    Responsible for the product Quality and Reliability performance : this applies to new programs execution, according to initiative targets, and to current product management assuring the implementation of product quality improvement road map.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Management of Current Product : is responsible for current product management within the platform team. Coordinates root cause analysis, solution identification, resolution plan execution including validation.

    Participate and take an active role in all regional CPM (Current Product Management) Meetings assuring that the teams focus on the highest prioritized issues and work efficiently to meet the teams’ targets (KPI’s).

    Manage and prioritize current product quality improvement actions working closely with the Quality Organization’s Product Range Leaders.

    Management of New Product Development in relation to Quality and Reliability targets : is the proactive PIR (Product Incident Report) tutor, in charge of PIR assignment for resolution, checkingthe progress (7-

    step status tracking); monitor target and evolution of key performance indicators : product Average warranty Cost per Unit (ACPU), Failure frequency (F / 100), Problem resolution time (TTF).

    Coordination and support of Early Warning activities after new product OK to Ship.

    Manage spending (Engineering and Capital Investments) to stay within approved Platform Q&R budgets. Planner / Expense administrator is in charge of spending management for New and Current Product.

    During Budget / Forecast time Planner-Expense Administrator coordinates with Q&R Specialist to allocate budget to support current product activities (only applicable in CE)

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :

  • BS or Masters Degree in Engineering. Preferred with emphasis in mechanical, and / or electrical disciplines or equivalent work experience.
  • In addition, education as Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

  • Preferred with experience in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Proven critical and independent thinking skills
  • Knowledge of design analysis
  • Preferred with experience in engineering product design and development.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Languages know : English high level
