Responsible for maximizing sales, productivity, and net profit from products for the assigned product category.
Scripting of shows and managing inventory, productivity and margin, in order to drive sales. Work with cross functional teams, to plan and improve the business through utilizing inventories, product sales history and other relevant market information, in order to maximize sales opportunities.
Prioritize on-air sales and productivity maximization. Script PALs according to PAL basic standards and scripting guidelines.
Strategize items to maximize selling exposures
Identify and react to opportunities that include promo handles, Free P&P, SPVs, TSVs, OTOs, Auto Delivery, and Advanced Orders.
Manage QPay to maximize sales and manage inventory while maintaining QPay budget
Monitor and review sales performance on a euro per minute basis - considering forecast, mix & sequence of products, time of day, mix of price, theme producer and presenter
Maintain category margin requirements insuring that new and markdowns are priced accordingly, also balancing overall price code mix to achieve assigned category margin goal.
Liaise with Programming to make adjustments to the weekly schedules based on current performance and trends to maximize airtime sales for the business not just the category.
Identify opportunities for new show titles and events
Partner with Buying to analyze business and develop short and mid-term strategic plans.
Partner with Buying to establish seasonal strategic plans, including rotation of shows and products. Balance the needs of the category and the business to ensure the best result for the airtime.
Manage and action overall inventory to assigned goal.
Analyze item / show sales performances and determine next actions
Identify lines to re-order and propose quantities for key lines, being responsible for developing strategies for their long-
term life cycle to ensure on air and Buy Anytime sales are maximized on each line.
To identify stock to be returned to vendor (RTV) and actioned in a timely manner, proposing exit strategies for problem lines.
Identify and action markdown and liquidation inventory, ensuring that the correct status, pricing and liquidation strategy is applied in accordance with QVC's guidelines.
To prioritize management of aged inventory
Identify and communicate opportunities within category assortment based on sales trends and gaps in the inventory.
Partner with Buying and Commerce Platforms to forecast, plan and recap Events
Forecast sales and inventory providing information for the open to buy process.
Provide information for the Call Centre to enable them to manage any unexpected high volume items.
Partner with crossfunctional team members (including TVSales, Marketing and eCommerce), in order to drive both sales and new customer acquisitions, across multichannel platforms.

Degree in Economic, Engineer; Mathematics, Statistic
Proven experience in the role, preferably in retail sector
Experience of being responsible for a product area and stock control is preferred
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Ability to adapt to a fast pace and live commercial environment
