Responsibilities :

  • As the Sales Leader for the High Pressure business in Europe, the Director is responsible to target, develop and foster sales / business development strategies to maintain a market leadership position;
  • coordinate across the world area and business unit to establish Emerson as the primary supplier within targeted industry segments.

    I. Responsibilities include :

  • Manage and provide leadership to be consistent with the Vision and Mission; including communication, training, coaching, timely performance feedback, recruitment, corrective discipline and employee development
  • Generate and implement specific, targeted and measurable sales growth plans to meet High Pressures performance objectives
  • Sales Channel Management :
  • o Develop overall channel strategy; conduct distributor reviews and quarterly sales updates

    o Manage country and world area sales forecasts, and proposal activity

    o Monitor channel performance and make recommendations and decisions on changes when needed

    o Participate in key project and account penetration planning and execution with Sales Managers

    o Ensure channel is up-to-date on company tools, training and policies

  • Research, monitor and communicate dynamics in the world area such as segment growth, new opportunities, industry trends, strategic account movements and competitive intelligence that impact business unit performance.
  • Manage Europe POR process and FY budgets
  • Coordinate project pursuit and key account activities with Sales Managers and Emerson Automation Solutions regarding specifications and pricing
  • Lead negotiations of major projects and contracts, including conducting technical and business presentations, approving proposals / bids
  • Develop appropriate measures of customer satisfaction and provide feedback on emerging trends and opportunities to Marketing
  • Member of the Global Leadership Team for High Pressure
  • Key interface with Emerson European business units. Act as a liaison and represent Tescom / AGI interests
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science
  • MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or marketing environment with progressive levels of responsibility
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Products or Process Industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work and influence within in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Solid organizational, project management, written, oral and presentation skills
  • Strong in Analytics
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Advanced strategic selling / negotiation skills
