Your main duties will be :
Using ServIS to understand the existing Installed Base (IB), identifying and developing sales opportunities for Service Products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB and settle new IBs in the market.
Moreover in collaboration with the Service Sales Management, You will be involved in analysing the channel strategy and the appropriate price bids in order to prepare effective sales plans, to be reviewed or updated when needed.
Finally regularly updating the appropriate installed base in ServIS (the approved Service Database) in line with the changes required
Focusing on the entire Service Portfolio to secure profit concerning the assigned Business Units and Product Groups
Generating Service Sales leads and developing new market opportunities by analyzing and implementing market trend information;
identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios; taking a One ABB Approach’ to leverage other colleagues’ portfolios
Establishing long term customer relationships throughout the understanding and the delivering of customers’ requirements in line with the applicable regulations in order to demonstrate in-
depth a reliable technical knowledge about the relation Product / Solutions knowledge and to promote efficiently the Life Cycle Management (LCM).
Consequently registering customer feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Selling entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated areas : charting out and monitoring sales proposals, tendering and following up proposal statistics.
Preparing ABB’s Service offerings based on customer needs and in coordination with the local Service Sales Manager; finally communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy, including managing the whole administrative sales process
Acting as a marketer / salesperson of ABB’s Service Products and Solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings);
translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions
Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality, registering required information into the appropriate customer database, ensuring technical reliability, safety and cost effective solutions in order to satisfy customer’s needs;
complying with health and safety directives
Key requirements include :
Degree in Engineering Electrical, Electronical, Mechanical, Chemical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Fluent knowledge and use of English, both written and spoken
2 or more years of professional experience in Marketing & Sales with preference in a Customer Service related role
Previous experience or background in Power Electronics, Power Generation or equivalent subjects would be an advantage, especially in the field of rotating machine such as oil / gas turbines and / or superconductive electrical equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills
