  • Maintain the technical product / platform SEO readiness, applying the latest knowledge of search ranking factors, best practices and conversion optimization
  • Responsible for reviewing and auditing the web code and mobile app structure to ensure quality, crawlability and discoverability by search engine crawlers
  • Support the adoption of the latest industry-standard SEO software to drive and measure the evolution of the platform
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target phrases
  • Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from Marketing, Product and Engineering partners to push for technical SEO best practices
  • Develop SEO migration plans, roadmaps, timings
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Tech to plan rollout and continuous operations activities
  • Work hand in hand with Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing and PR to to drive excellence in SEO and exploit all potential opportunities
  • Develop and implement link building strategies
  • Promote the adoption of optimization techniques for copy and landing pages for search engine marketing, keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Lead liaison with SEO agency driving efficiencies and opportunity in all elements of SEO
  • Be proactive and be responsible for identifying changes to the platform and find solutions for any problems as they arise
  • Skills / experience required

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (XiTi & Google Analytics)
  • Experience working closely with product and development teams
  • Experience with A / B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SEM and ASO
  • Experience with Google App Engine, Google Custom Search and Google Search Console
  • Experience working with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, Robots.txt, metadata, XML Sitemaps and site speed optimization to optimize website performance
  • Experience in quantifying marketing impact and SEO performance and strong understanding of technical SEO (sitemaps, crawl budget, duplicate content, canonicalization, etc.)
  • Highly numerate and able to thrive in a fact and data-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate with all types of internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to drive a culture of innovation and testing, always looking for new ways of working, opportunities and search excellence
  • Fluent English
  • Strong background and proven track record in SEO (min 3+ years) and knowledge of technical algorithms for Google & Bing
  • 5-10 years experience in professional / corporate environments
