Purpose of the role
The Industry Marketing Manager ensures the development, execution, and coordination of all marketing activities for the assigned Industries and target customers to increase market knowledge, awareness and target achievement.
You will drive Sales organizations in the selling process for targeted industries and segments. Furthermore, you will foster the usage and creation of value proposition and necessary tools to penetrate the target industry ecosystem with associated machine builders, End-
Users, SI and Channel & Panel builders.
Duties and responsibilities :
Develop and apply mapping methods to create Industry and Customer dependency overviews;
Deliver assigned customer profiles representing a full customer value chain;
Investigate associated lobby associations related to target industry;
Define Value Propositions (solutions & benefits) using products, application software & services;
Create and deliver content for campaigns and extensive promotional usage;
Test the Value Proposition with the teams assigned;
Develops an annual market development plan, inclusive of strategies and key actions to fulfill, but also drives & delivers that plan to implement and promote the selected value propositions to the assigned market;
Applies transparent and appropriate internal communication about releases and planed industry collaterals;
Pro-active proposal of actions and support of sales and promotion activities in the Promotion team.
Qualifications and experience :
University or Higher vocational education (Bachelor’s degree) with a minimum of 5 years of working experience;
Complementary education in Marketing / Business administration;
Working experience in OEM, marketing or sales;
You are used to interacting with the sales organization and customers;
You can assess priorities and deliver tangible results;
Excellent communication skills across all levels;
Proficiency in English;
Good intercultural awareness, experience with Asian cultures (mainly Japan) has a preference;
Accomplishment oriented working style;
Driven to deliver on committed deadlines and follow necessary routine duties;
You are open-minded, outspoken and entrepreneurial;
Provides effective presentations in seminars or at key-customers.
